Warehouse Manager

Cue is a progressive Technical Live Events company based in Birmingham with an outstanding reputation. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our growing team.

The Role

This position will see you managing the overall function of the warehouse with the assistance of the warehouse team. You will be responsible for managing your team with their daily tasks, setting goals and objectives that meet our business goals. Arrange transportation, schedule staff and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little or no delay, whilst maintaining the highest standard of service possible.

About You

To be considered for this role you are able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Proven track record of running a warehouse team to include evidence of improving output through proactive training, mentoring and performance management as well as experience motivating and developing teams.
  • Able to evidence an excellent standard of management and provide working examples of proactive management and its impact of operations standards
  • Experience of working in adherence with ISO quality standards and Health and Safety legislation.
  • Experience using stock control software.

Hire Desk Co-ordinator

Cue is a leading Technical Live Events company based in Birmingham operating throughout the UK and Europe. We provide full event packages for conferences, award ceremonies and product launches. We are looking for an experienced Hire Co-ordinator to join our growing team.

The Role

You would be working in the Hire department which services small events and venues across Birmingham. Processing hire enquiries from the initial conversation with the client through to delivery of the equipment/services. You will book equipment and your team of technicians. Where necessary attend and report to internal operations, management & board meetings.

Operations Technician

Cue is a progressive Technical Live Events company based in Birmingham with an outstanding reputation. We are looking for experienced Show Technicians to join our growing team.

The Role

This position will see you initially working on site across the UK and Europe. You will have the opportunity to utilise your practical technical experience with Audio, AV and Lighting to help provide customers with a memorable experience at a range of corporate live events such as award shows, gala dinners, launches and conferences. You will be part of a team and at times acting as a point of contact for companies and organisations who use the venue for their event projects ensuring that their expectations are always met.

About You

To be considered for this role you are able to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to set up and operate AV and Audio systems
  • Practical experience with audio mixers, PA & speaker systems
  • Practical experience with video/data systems, projection
  • Hands on experience with presentation and playback software such as PowerPoint, Keynote & Playback pro or Q-LAb
  • Excellent trouble shooting and fault finding skills
  • Customer focused
  • An enthusiasm for AV/event technology and a desire to learn more
  • Takes ownership and accountability
  • Organisation and planning skills with a focus on health, safety and environmental best practice
  • Excellent communication skills
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Passport

LED screens experience desirable but not necessary as training will be given.
